Single Origin - 70% Madre de Dios

Our favourite single origin! 

As people that like bright and floral notes from chocolate (shout out to @ManoaChocolate (Hawai'i), try them, you'll love it!) We came across this bar, confused but amazed at what it brought to the table!

Our producers listed notes of Red and Citric fruits, but upon roasting, we knew this origin stood out as a player.  When refining the chocolate in our stone melangers, a herbal aroma arose in the air that caused us to stop and really dial this one in. A notable herbal and earthy flavour profile set this origin up to become the base for many of our infused bars, and a staple in our tasting lineup. Unassuming, it is always a treat to taste and pair with different like spirits that compliment a more nutty and rich fudgy taste.
